Hi, I'm 41 years old, married, with three kids. When I was in my early teens I raced a Super Sunfish and then a Force 5. I sold them when I got interested in cars. Recently I have been building boats, I started my 4th one. Two years ago, St. Patrics Day, I was in a terrible snow mobile accident. From it I received a Tramatic Brain Injury. Now I spend most of my time in a wheelchair at home. I'm now interested in a powerboat that I can get around in and I will use it in local lakes and the Ct. river.

Well Jim the Louis Vuitton races are over and it looks as if Kiwis will be sailing against Kiwis in the Americas cup races, one boat ours and the other Swiss. I hope of course that we hold it for another term but to be honest I have absolutely no idea how the boats are matched. Time will tell.

Have just come back from a few days down the coast and into a very shallow and protected harbour towing my daughters sailing dinghy so that she could learn to sail in a quiet and unpopulated area. What a laugh ,every man and his dog had the same idea.It turned out well, she managed to do the right things at the right times and I didn't even get my feet wet. We were in luck on the way down.It was pretty rough and we anchored as soon as we got in the lee for a rest.I must admit I took forty winks and was woken by a fizz boat pulling alongside. The first thing he said was [do you like scallops?] I assured him that I did and was handed a fair sized bag of very large ones.He and his crew had been diving and had come upon a bed of really big ones One has to be lucky sometimes. Your days are getting longer now and it won't be long b4 you'll be sailing again. I'm so glad that we don't get snow here and can sail all the year round. Take care .

Jack.

Found you while doing a search for Nautical Wallpaper on Google.com of all places. We are both Florida transplants to the Atlanta area, so our current body of water is Lake Lanier although we prefer the ocean. Mike is from Florida's Gulf coast while Valerie is from Florida's East Coast and we have joint interest in the Panama City area. One day we will return to our native state. Mike is a certified scuba diver, Valerie is just now in training for the same so we can enjoy trips together and we're sure this will become our favorite water activity. We own a 19' center console, fishing and just 'boating around' is great with the kids until they get old enough to scuba!

Hi - My favorite body of water is the Husdon River - all of it or at the very least where I have traveled with my boat which is Roundout Creek NY (Kingston) south to the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Just started boating 2 years ago and currently own a 18' bowrider that I am selling and it looks like I am going to purchase a 26' Formula. Found the site by doing a search - looking for boating information.

I live in the northern part of Wisconsin, however my favorite body of water is the Chesapeake Bay Maryland Sshores. I don't have any boats at present but my favorite boats are sailboats and the very old fishing trawlers of the bay region. I was on a whaler site and next thing I knew was on your site. gigi

I would like to own a boat (I would name it the Linda R for my favorite singer Linda Ronstadt). I have been on the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Kentucky and Norris Lake in KY. I think I prefer sail to speed (motor) boating. I found you by searching for a printable calander because my pharmacy was unable to have a calander this year as we have had in past.

Way back when I was in the Marine Corps I was told not to volunteer for anything but this club sounds like fun. I have a 34ft Morgan Sloop which I sail on Lake Michigan, out of North Point. I keep it on the hard at Larsen Marine, and it seems to me it has been cold for a long time, drop an E mail...

I have been boating all around the Long Island, NY waters for 30+ years but my favorite is the Peconic bays on the east end. I just sold a 25' Sea Ray and had planned to take a year or so off but don't know if I can survive next summer without a boat. Right now the Mainship Pilot 30 is my dream boat.
